Examination Highlights
Parents, brothers and sisters and other family members joined staff and Governors to celebrate outstanding examination success on both A Level and GCSE result days. Year 13 were the first to open their ‘brown envelopes’ and to find out all their hard work and commitment had secured much sought after university places. With fantastic results all 47 students are now looking forward to moving on to undergraduate courses.
For the class of 2011 the waiting game lasted another week. Everyone was thrilled to celebrate amazing GCSE results with an overall achievement of;
56% 5A* - C passes including English and Maths.
92% 5A* - C passes
There were also celebrations for students in Years 9 and 10 who successfully sat a number of GCSEs early. Year 12 too enjoyed AS success. Congratulations to all our students who showed dedication to learning brings academic success.
