Students at Stoke Damerel Community College have been taking part in a competition to design a banner to highlight the College's involvement in a pioneering dementia project at Plymouth's Lord Mayor's Day celebrations.

As part of the Healthy Child Immunisation Programme the College is offering all Year 10 pupils diphtheria, tetanus and polio boosters at school.

In Plymouth some GP practices have already offered this immunisation to children registered at their practice, if this is the case for your child he/she does not need a further one.

If you are unsure if your child has already received this injection please check with your GP.

If you do want your child to receive the immunisation please print off this consent form and return to the College.

The immunisations will be given on 28 February, starting at 9.30am, if you have any questions please speak to your GP or please contact the School Nursing Service on 01752 434119.
