CURRICULUM CHOICE EVENING THURSDAY 17 JANUARY 2013 AT 6.30PM
I am delighted to invite you to this important event for your child. As you are aware, students in Year 10 started their Key Stage 4 option choices in Year 9, and for those students who are on one-year or two-year courses due to finish at the end of this year (2013) they will need to make new subject choices for September 2013. Students will be able to choose courses which reflect their interests and aspirations for the future. In order to best guide your child, there will be a number of opportunities to receive information and to discuss choices with a range of staff. Curriculum Choice Guide for Year 10
Your child will have an assembly this week to explain the choices available to them in September. Curriculum Choice Evening on 17th January 2013 will provide an opportunity for you to find out about the range of courses available to your child and to speak to subject teachers about different courses and subject areas. Your child's tutor will also be available on this evening. Following Curriculum Choice Evening, students will need to decide on the options they would like to study next year. You will be offered the opportunity to attend an options appointment with the tutor or Mrs Porch, Careers Coordinator. I do hope that you are able to attend this evening.
