The team started strong with a dominant performance against Eggbuckland, securing a convincing 13.5–3.5 win. They continued their winning streak with another excellent result, defeating Notre Dame 11–5 in a high-energy match.

It was a full bus this time, a true testament to the team's dedication and commitment to both training and competitive play. Their hard work has clearly paid off. While there were some brilliant hits throughout the evening, it was the team’s outstanding fielding that really stood out. The communication and teamwork on display were incredibly impressive—each player knew exactly what to do and executed it with confidence and precision.

We saw some stunning deep-field catches and incredibly safe hands on the bases, but one player deserves a special mention: Vicky, our exceptional bowler. She has proven herself to be the most consistent bowler the team has ever had, bringing a sense of calm and composure while showing excellent game awareness. She even managed to catch out a few players with some brilliant plays of her own!

Overall, the Year 8s were outstanding in every aspect of the game. We’re so proud of their performance and can't wait to see what they achieve next!
