Luke Pollard MP Visits Campus to Explore Our Exciting New Sports Facilities

We were thrilled to recently welcome Luke Pollard MP to our campus to take an in-depth look at our brand-new sports facilities. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to discuss the importance of lifelong fitness and how our recent developments—including the installation of cutting-edge astro-turf pitches, the formation of exciting new community partnerships, and an outstanding, dynamic sports curriculum—will help us to serve both our students and the wider community for many years to come.
During his time here, Luke had the chance to meet a group of our enthusiastic students, chatting with them about their experiences and goals in sport and fitness. Afterwards, he toured the facilities where students showcased their skills across a variety of sports. Luke even joined in on a friendly game of hockey, impressing everyone with his enthusiasm and natural talent on the pitch!
Mr. Oakes, our Head of School, commented, “It was brilliant to welcome Luke to our campus to see our new facilities firsthand. He truly shares our passion for promoting fitness and wellbeing within the community, and understands just how important this is for everyone’s health and future.”
This visit highlights the exciting future ahead for our sports programme, all firmly rooted in our ambition to be a world-class institution. With these new facilities and partnerships, we are better equipped than ever to inspire our students and community to embrace active, healthy lifestyles.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to build on this fantastic progress!
