U14 Girls Football Team Progress in ESFA Cup

The U14 Girls football team travelled to Tavistock College for the first round of the ESFA Cup and delivered an impressive performance. The game remained goalless until just before half-time, when a well-taken penalty by Belle put us ahead.
In the second half, the team continued to press forward, and shortly after the break, Sienna played a superb pass to Olivia, who placed it well in the bottom corner to extend our lead. Tavistock managed to score a consolation goal, but our girls showed remarkable determination and held on to secure a 2-1 victory.
The team’s work rate was exceptional, particularly the Year 7 players who stepped up to compete against older opponents. Congratulations to all involved for a hard-fought win!
Next, the team will face Launceston in the following round of the ESFA Cup.
