Year 10 & 11 Netball Team Finish the Season on a High

The Year 10 and 11 Netball team finished their final league fixtures with an impressive display of skill and determination.
Their first match was against Lipson, resulting in a convincing 15–0 victory. Players adapted to new positions seamlessly, with the usual GD Gracie stepping up to Centre and Naomi our GK taking on the Goal Shooter role, demonstrating excellent teamwork and versatility.
The final fixture was against DHSG, a team the girls had narrowly missed beating the previous year by just two goals. At half-time, the team led 4–2, remaining focused despite knowing the opposition would come back strongly in the second half.
A last-minute injury required another positional change, with Naomi stepping in as Goal Shooter once again. She scored a remarkable final goal from the edge of the D, securing a 9–4 win. This was a well-earned victory against a strong DHSG side, marking the first time the team had beaten them.
Despite being two players down due to illness, the team showed exceptional determination and adaptability throughout the matches, finishing the season on a high note with a well-deserved sense of achievement.
