Year 10 Boys Progress to Third Round in Style

Our Year 10 boys’ football team (plus Oscar and Adas) travelled to Exeter to face St Luke’s on what proved to be an extremely muddy and challenging pitch. Despite the difficult conditions, the team adapted superbly — moving the ball so confidently it looked as though they were playing on our own 3G surface.

After conceding an early goal within the first few minutes, the boys responded immediately with determination and composure. Playing some excellent, attacking football, they quickly turned the game around and took control of the match.

Two goals each from Freddie and Oscar, along with further strikes from Ollie and Kenyon, secured an impressive 6–1 victory.

Coach Mr Harvey said, “I’m incredibly proud of the boys — they showed fantastic resilience and teamwork in tough conditions. Their performance today was a real testament to their skill and determination.”

The team now progresses to the third round, where they will face either QE (Crediton) or Tiverton.

Well done to all the boys on a fantastic performance and a well-deserved win! ⚽👏
