Year 9/10 Netball Team Win Bronze at Plymouth Schools Tournament

Our Year 9/10 netball team had an outstanding evening at the Plymouth Schools Tournament, finishing third overall and bringing home bronze medals.
The girls showed incredible skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the night, with Year 9 players stepping up to compete against older opponents and helping the team secure some impressive victories.
They started the evening with a triumphant four-game winning streak:
-
8–0 vs Plympton
-
11–0 vs Torbridge
-
6–2 vs DHSG Year 11
-
Win vs our own Year 11 side (a friendly, fun game!)
After a quick break, the team faced their toughest matches of the night against DHSG Year 10 and PHSG Year 11, suffering narrow losses: 5–10 and 1–8, respectively.
Determined to finish strong, the girls secured a 12–1 victory over Plymstock in the final game, securing third place and bronze medals in the Year 10/11 end-of-season Plymouth Schools Tournament - A remarkable achievement!
Special congratulations to:
Year 10: Paula, Mica & Ashleigh - our incredible defenders; Jess C - an outstanding display of endurance playing WA and C
Year 9: Katie - played out of position and gave her best performance yet; Livvy & Jess - our confident shooters; Neveah - fantastic mid-court player and cheerleader; Lilly - exceptional at C and WA, dominating with her incredible jump height.
A huge well done to all the girls — they truly made the school proud!
