Students had the opportunity to speak directly with professionals from a wide range of sectors, including law, accountancy, defence and emergency services, as well as representatives from education, museums and gap year organisations. The event provided a fantastic chance for students to ask questions, learn about different career pathways and gain a better understanding of the opportunities available to them in the future.

Throughout the day, students engaged in meaningful conversations with exhibitors, discovering more about qualifications, skills and experiences needed for different professions. The event also helped students think more broadly about their own interests and ambitions.

Jacob, said,

“It was really helpful speaking to people who actually work in these jobs. It made me think about careers I hadn’t considered before and gave me a better idea of what skills I need to focus on for the future.”

Both staff and students praised the event for its excellent organisation, lively atmosphere and the valuable guidance offered by exhibitors. It was a highly successful day that left many students feeling inspired about their future possibilities.
