Year 7 Boys’ Football Team Show grit and Resilience
Our Year 7 boys’ football team have been an absolute joy to work with this year. Their cup run came to an end at the quarter-final stage against a strong Torquay Grammar side. At half time, the team were 4–0 down, but their attitude and determination were outstanding.
Challenged to win the second half, the players refused to let their heads drop or turn on one another, going on to win the second half. The game finished 6–4 to Torquay, but every player should be proud of their efforts.
It has been a pleasure taking this team across the county, and their positive attitude has been inspiring.
