Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders Shine in Hockey Leadership Training

20 of our Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders took part in a leadership hockey training session provided by the PSSP. This exciting opportunity is part of their preparation for an upcoming primary school festival in a few weeks’ time.
During the training, our leaders developed their knowledge of the game, learned how to perform and teach basic hockey skills, and gained confidence in delivering skill sessions. They also practiced officiating small-sided games, an essential part of ensuring smooth and fair play during the festival.
For many of our leaders, this was a completely new experience, and they embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Their willingness to try something new and step into leadership roles is a real credit to them, and we can’t wait to see them put their new skills into practice at the festival.
Well done to all our Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders for showing such dedication and energy!
