For the vast majority of the students, this was a completely new experience, challenging them to adapt their reflexes and learn fresh techniques outside their usual sporting comfort zones.

Our students represented Stoke Damerel excellently throughout the entire day. The coaches were incredibly impressed by how well the group listened to instructions, embraced the new rules, and gave 100% effort into every rally.

Year 10 student Olivia shared her excitement about trying the sport:

"I'd never played padel tennis before, but it was so fast-paced and fun to learn with everyone. Getting out onto the courts in the city centre and trying something completely new with my friends made it a really great day out!"
