A special mention goes to our highest-performing SDCC students this year, who achieved an extraordinary average grade profile:

We are thrilled to celebrate Nabeelah, Oliver, and Hossam for achieving a remarkable Grade 8 average across their studies. Their overall results were anchored by exceptional top-end performances: Nabeelah achieved a full suite of grades 9–7, Oliver landed six top grades including three 9s and three 8s, and Hossam earned seven top grades including four 9s and three 8s. Outstanding work from all three!

In fact, the school has seen a significant increase in the number of top grades awarded this Summer, with a substantial number of students achieving Grades 9-7. Grade 9s are only awarded to the top 2% of the Country, so our students are showing how they truly are World Class.

The celebrations don't stop with GCSE success. This September, Stoke Damerel Community College is thrilled to welcome a record number of students into our Sixth Form.

Our Post-16 students will be the first to fully experience our brand-new, world-class facilities, designed to offer an inspiring environment for advanced study, collaboration, and personal growth. Whether staying with us from Year 11 or joining us from across Plymouth, our incoming Sixth Formers are stepping into a top-tier learning space built to help them reach their full potential.
