The opening game saw the team take on a tough Devonport High School for Girls (DHSG) side. The girls kept the score incredibly tight throughout the first half and raised their game even further in the second. While it ended in a narrow loss, the squad showed fantastic resilience and is already looking forward to the rematch this Monday.

They bounced back brilliantly in their second fixture against Ivybridge. In a close, fast-paced match, the girls maintained a steady lead before a smart tactical change secured a fantastic 14–6 win.
