Campus Comes Alive at Annual Clubs Fair

The main hall was buzzing with excitement this week as students gathered for the annual Clubs Fair, discovering an incredible range of extra-curricular opportunities designed to build confidence, support academics, and foster lifelong friendships.
From high-energy team sports to creative arts, the fair showcased something for every interest:
- Creative Arts & Performance: Hands-on creative outlets including art, clay, textiles, photography, and zine creation, alongside performing arts opportunities in drama, dance, choir, bands, and instrumental music lessons.
- Sports & Fitness: A wide range of athletic opportunities, including team sports such as football, rugby, netball, and basketball, as well as structured fitness and conditioning sessions.
- Academic Boosts & Career Pathways: Specialised clubs focused on STEM, coding, science, and languages, alongside dedicated subject revision support, university preparation, and career exploration groups.
- Inclusion, Leadership & Life Skills: Student-led student voice groups, sustainability committees, life skills workshops, inclusive peer support groups, and campus broadcast media channels.
Student enthusiasm was palpable throughout the event;
"I was really blown away by how welcoming all the stallholders were," shared Year 8 student Ava. "I'm definitely planning to join the Art and Clay Club and the Eco Council so I can try new creative projects and make a real difference around school."
Billy, Year 10, was equally thrilled about the sports line up: "There’s such a great selection of clubs this term. I'm signed up for Morning Football and the DofE Club - it's going to be a brilliant way to stay active and challenge myself."
Joining a club is one of the best ways to gain essential leadership skills, boost physical and mental well-being, and strengthen future university or career applications.
Don't miss out—clubs officially go live on Monday 21st September! Be sure to sign up early to secure a spot.
