Despite tournament disruptions - with only three of the six expected schools turning up - our players stayed focused and composed. They played fantastically well in their sole fixture of the day, securing a decisive 4–0 victory against Eggbuckland.

Beyond the scoreline, the squad demonstrated incredible sportsmanship and team spirit throughout:

• Lucy: Showed incredible composure, flawlessly marking Eggbuckland’s strongest player and consistently positioning herself right where the team needed her.
• Ava: Made a welcome return to the court following a ligament injury. She proved completely impenetrable in defence – and while she wasn't happy that there was no "before" photo, the post-match photo is proof of just how hard she worked!
• Fadhillat: Exemplified great sportsmanship by volunteering to play half the game for a short-staffed Eggbuckland team, pulling off fantastic interceptions at both GD and GK.
• Millicent: Barely let her exceptionally tall opponent touch the ball in defence before switching to GS, where she worked brilliantly in the shooting circle. Her effort earned her Opposition’s Player of the Match (OPOM).
• Emmy: Stepped into the new position of GA with remarkable confidence, commanding the shooting circle and earning Coach’s Player of the Match (CPOM).
• Ebun: Showed great versatility, playing half the game at GS for us, before generously offering to help out Eggbuckland for the second half.
• Marnie: Made a brilliant debut in her first game for the school, providing essential support and seamlessly transitioning the ball down the court.
• Rosie: Controlled the attack from WA, delivering incredible, precise feeds into the D time after time.
