From the opening whistle, the girls dominated the final third with relentless pressure, forcing a series of corners and putting the opposition goalkeeper under constant strain. Their hard work paid off in the final minute of the first half when we were awarded a penalty. Teigan stepped up and kept her cool from the spot, calmly slotting the ball home to give us a 1-0 lead going into the break.

In the second half, our defence worked tirelessly to protect the lead and seal a brilliant clean sheet, solidifying the backline in front of captain and goalkeeper, Hope.
