Our Year 10 students were fantastic as usual, showing great maturity by stepping back to let our younger year groups shine once they saw how confident they were becoming.

We were completely blown away by our new Year 7 and Year 8 students, who engaged brilliantly with the residents and brought so much energy and kindness to the visit. A special mention goes out to Year 7 standout students Albie, Toby, and Ruby, whose enthusiasm and gentle care truly stood out!

Reflecting on the experience, Albie shared:

"It was so rewarding to play croquet, chat, and hear all their stories. Seeing how happy it made them just to have us there was amazing."

Ruby added:

"I really enjoyed making the residents smile! I was a bit nervous at first, but everyone was so welcoming that it quickly became one of the best things I’ve done at school."

What’s Next? We’re already looking forward to our upcoming festive visits back to Hartley Park and Two Trees, as well as our highly anticipated Christmas Croquet event on Monday, 7th December!

Thank you to all our students for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school and making a real difference in our local community.
