Students learn dance leadership skills
13 March 2020
The College has hosted a Dance Leadership Day, where students developed skills in teaching dance routines and techniques to each other.
The course was delivered by Plymouth School Sports Partnership (PSSP) to around 20 students from Stoke Damerel Community College and Plympton Academy.
Those who took part in the course had expressed an interest in dance as a possible career. Miss Adams said: “They have been learning all about what makes a good dance teacher. With this course, they now have the skills to help lead similar courses in the future, so this is really a big step for them.”
The College would like to thank the PSSP practitioners, Jules, Aidan and Hayley, for leading the session at our College dance studio.
