This October, SDCC is celebrating Black History Month, recognising the achievements, culture, and contributions of Black individuals, both past and present.
The U14 Girls football team travelled to Tavistock College for the first round of the ESFA Cup and delivered an impressive performance. The game remained goalless until just before half-time, when a well-taken penalty by Belle put us ahead.
Our KS3 students took part in an inspiring Gabrieli Roar vocal workshop, hosted by the Music Department and led by outstanding choral directors Charles and Emily. The session brought voices together through dynamic warm-ups, body percussion, vocal percussion, and rich vocal harmonies.
There was a brilliant buzz around the sports hall this week as 28 students from across campus joined in with our Badminton Club. With a great mix of boys and girls from different year groups, it was fantastic to see so many students taking part and enjoying the game together.
Today, students from across the school gathered for our much-anticipated Cross-Campus Clubs Fayre. The atmosphere was buzzing as students explored stalls, spoke with staff and student leaders, and signed up for the clubs that excited them most.
