Sixth Form students travel to Birmingham for Exam Booster session

This week marked a significant academic adventure for Year 12 and Year 13 students from SDCC as they, accompanied by Miss Gratton and Mr Romaine, embarked on a journey to Birmingham for an intensive exam booster session.

This dedicated effort aimed to prepare the students for their upcoming January BTEC exams, turning a long journey into a worthwhile and rewarding experience.

The primary focus of the day was an immersive and interactive revision for units 1 and 2 of their BTEC exams. The day was filled with engaging sessions designed to bolster the students' understanding of key concepts. The students, in turn, displayed remarkable enthusiasm, actively participating in the sessions and demonstrating their commitment to academic excellence.

The students shone through as they navigated through the intense revision schedule. Throughout the day, they not only answered questions with enthusiasm but also emerged victorious, winning numerous prizes. Their active participation and success in the sessions showcased not only their academic prowess but also their determination to make the most of the valuable opportunity.

Miss Gratton and Mr Romaine, the guiding forces behind this academic excursion, expressed immense pleasure in accompanying such dedicated and engaged students. "The joy of seeing the students actively involved in the revision process and reaping the rewards of their efforts was a testament to the collaborative spirit between educators and learners."

The Birmingham Exam Booster session was undeniably a success, underscoring the commitment of SDCC Year 12 and 13 students to their academic pursuits, well done.
