Year 12 Sports Students Gain Valuable Insights at Marjon University

Our Year 12 Sports students went on an enriching visit to Marjon University, seizing a remarkable opportunity to explore the realms of sports science.

Led by university staff, the trip encompassed a comprehensive tour of the campus along with three engaging workshops focusing on Physiology, Sports Therapy, and Performance Analysis.

This visit proved to be more than just a field trip; it served as a pivotal moment for the students to put their theoretical knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology into practical application, especially in preparation for their upcoming Unit 1 Exam in May. The interactive workshops provided a platform for them to hone their skills and deepen their understanding of these crucial subjects.

Beyond academic enrichment, the visit offered a glimpse into the vibrant life of university students, sparking contemplation amongst the Year 12 cohort about their future pathways post-18. Experiencing the atmosphere and facilities first hand, the students gained invaluable insights that could potentially influence their decisions regarding higher education and career aspirations.

Overall, the trip to Marjon University was not only educational but also inspirational, fostering a spirit of curiosity and ambition amongst the Year 12 Sports students as they navigate their academic and professional journeys.
