Year 9 Rugby Team Shines in Tournament!
The Year 9 rugby team kicked off their season with an exciting central venue tournament at Plympton Academy, and they certainly gave the crowd something to cheer about! Despite a tough start, the team showed incredible determination and spirit, making it a day to remember.
In their opening match against St Boniface, the game was nail-bitingly close. The boys fought hard, but the final score was 10-15 in favour of St Boniface. It was a match that could have gone either way, and the team gave their all on the field.
But the real magic happened in their final game against Plympton Academy. Bouncing back with renewed energy, the Year 9s delivered an outstanding performance, winning 40-0! There was some fantastic play throughout, with powerful running with the ball from key players like Jaxon and Freddie as well as an impressive hat trick of tries by Finley.
