Year 9 Reach Quarterfinals of the Devon Cup
We are thrilled to celebrate a major achievement for our Year 9 boys, who have now joined the Year 7 and 8 teams in securing a place in the quarterfinals of the Devon Cup. This is a tremendous accomplishment for the school and highlights the strength and skill of our students across all year groups.
In an exciting match, the boys faced DHSB once again. The two teams had met before in previous competitions: the Year 9 team triumphed over them in the Plymouth Cup but were narrowly defeated in the National competition. This match was the highly anticipated "trilogy" of their encounters, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The boys showed immense resilience and determination, battling through to win 2-1 and secure their spot in the next round of the Devon Cup.
The team’s success is a direct reflection of their outstanding team spirit and the strong sense of camaraderie they share. This unity has been a key factor in their ability to overcome tough challenges and achieve impressive results.
