Year 7 Stars and Diamonds Shine in End-of-Season Netball Tournament
The Year 7 Stars and Diamonds teams stepped onto the court for their much-anticipated end-of-season netball tournament. Since September, many of the players have been dedicated team members, showing unwavering commitment and enthusiasm in training.
Between them, the teams played an incredible eleven matches—a physically demanding but thoroughly enjoyable evening of netball. Both teams performed exceptionally well, narrowly missing out on places in the semifinals.
Throughout the tournament, the players displayed outstanding resilience, never giving up and continuously supporting one another. The enthusiastic backing from parents made the event even more special, with parents even creating a banner to cheer the teams on!
A special mention goes to Fatima, who joined the team just a few weeks ago. Despite playing in a completely new position, she impressed everyone with her performance and was even scouted by a local netball coach—an incredible achievement!
