Celebrating Success in the Biology Olympiad

We are thrilled to recognise the outstanding achievements of our A-Level Biology and Applied Science students, who recently participated in the prestigious Biology Olympiad. This year’s competition was highly competitive, with 18,533 students from 1,053 schools across the country taking part.

During the Olympiad, students completed two challenging 25-minute online tests, designed to assess a wide range of biological knowledge without any prior preparation. These tests encouraged students to think critically and apply their scientific understanding beyond the standard curriculum.

Our students rose to the challenge and achieved fantastic results:

  • Obada earned a Bronze Award, placing him within the top 30% of participants.

  • Oscar was recognised with a Highly Commended award for his fantastic effort.

Their success is a true reflection of the hard work, passion, and scientific talent within our A-Level cohort. Congratulations to all the students who took part — we are incredibly proud of your achievements and dedication!
