Mayflower House Freezes for a Good Cause!
There was plenty of excitement as students in Year 7 and Year 8 watched Mr Oakes and Mr O’Brien take on the SDCC Ice Bucket Challenge—all in support of a fantastic cause.
The event was organised by Mayflower House as part of their ongoing fundraising efforts for Devon Mind, a charity that works to promote better mental health across Devon. Nominated by tutor group 7.2, the team behind the challenge created a fun and lively atmosphere, with cheering students and icy water flying!
Thanks to the generosity of our school community, the event raised over £100 for Devon Mind. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped make the challenge such a brilliant success.
