Year 7 Curriculum Collapse: A Day of Sport, Teamwork, and Fun
As part of their Healthy Active Lifestyles session, our Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to enjoy the school’s brand-new astro turf pitch. The day was filled with energy and enthusiasm as tutor groups faced off in a spirited end ball invasion game.
Students gave it their all, working to score in the opposing team’s end zone while still defending their own. Throughout the matches, they demonstrated excellent communication, strong teamwork, and unwavering determination. The positive, friendly rivalry brought out the best in everyone—both on and off the field.
A special thank you goes to our fantastic Year 10 Sports Leaders, who not only organised and ran the event but also stepped in to support teams when numbers were short. Their leadership and commitment helped make the event a great success.
Our Year 7 tutors also played a key role in boosting morale—cheering on their groups and modelling great sportsmanship throughout the afternoon.
It was a brilliant showcase of school spirit, athleticism, and collaboration across year groups!
