KS3 Students Shine in Vocal Workshop

Our KS3 students took part in an inspiring Gabrieli Roar vocal workshop, hosted by the Music Department and led by outstanding choral directors Charles and Emily. The session brought voices together through dynamic warm-ups, body percussion, vocal percussion, and rich vocal harmonies.

Students embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, from learning entirely by ear to performing confidently in four-part harmony—even adding creative flair by imitating drum kit sounds! Their energy and focus created an electric atmosphere that filled the room.

We were also delighted to welcome students from Lipson Co-operative Academy, who collaborated brilliantly with our students, showing the power of music to unite young people across the city.

Following the workshop, our students began rehearsals with Legacy Choir leaders, tackling the opening of The Polar Express in four-part harmony. We are so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to share their progress at our upcoming festive events.
