Outstanding Effort from U14 Girls Football Team in ESFA Cup
The U14 girls football team has had an impressive ESFA Cup journey, giving it their all from the first whistle to the last. In their recent game against Ivybridge, they faced a strong side but defended admirably and created some excellent attacking opportunities, keeping their heads high throughout the match.
The Player of the Match went to Ivy, who excelled while playing out of position, consistently winning the ball and putting in a fantastic performance.
Throughout the tournament, the girls have been fantastic representatives for Stoke Damerel, playing great football and supporting each other as a team. Even though they haven’t progressed further in the ESFA Cup, the girls’ effort, commitment, and teamwork have been outstanding. With record numbers at training, they are now looking forward to preparing for the central venue fixtures in January!
