Celebrating Romanian National Day – Carla Represents Romania

We are incredibly proud of our brilliant Year 7 student Carla, who had the amazing honour of representing Romania at the Romanian Consulate’s flag-raising ceremony in Plymouth earlier this December.
Carla played a central role in the event, introducing the ceremony and participating in a range of activities. She performed a poem, shared fascinating facts about Romania, and explained the significance of a traditional Christmas carol – all flawlessly delivered in both English and Romanian. Her performance highlighted not only her confidence and talent but also her deep appreciation for her heritage.
This experience was a unique opportunity for Carla to showcase her skills on a formal, international stage and to represent her community with pride. It is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of the diverse talents within our school.
Well done, Carla – we are extremely proud of your accomplishment!
