SDCC Hosts Inter-House ‘Retro’ Gaming Competition

SDCC recently saw 150 students take part in an exciting Inter-House ‘Retro’ gaming competition. Last week’s focus was the classic Space Invaders, with students competing to achieve the highest score and earn valuable House Points.
This week, the spotlight moves to another beloved classic — Pac-Man! Students are invited to come to the Computing department during either break time to register their highest score. Participation earns 5 House Points, and the winner will take home 20 House Points for their House.
Staff members are also joining in the fun! Students are encouraged to challenge teachers and see if they can beat their scores — just let a member of staff know if you want to take them on.
One student said, “It’s so much fun competing against friends and staff, and it’s a great way to earn House Points at the same time!”

The Inter-House Retro Gaming Competition is a fantastic way for students to show off their gaming skills, earn House Points, and enjoy some friendly competition. We can’t wait to see who will take the crown in this week’s Pac-Man challenge!
