Even more impressive, this incredible recognition for student impact has been achieved in our very first year of running the programme.

This milestone was only possible thanks to the immense hard work, dedication, skill, and precision of our staff, who successfully got this initiative off the ground and woven into the school day.

Our team's incredible efforts didn't just catch the eye of the award judges; Ofsted inspectors also highly praised this work during their recent visit. They were particularly impressed by the high-quality extraction work and targeted support our staff regularly completed with the students.

The Lexia literacy and reading programmes are designed to offer truly personalised learning for every single pupil. By utilising adaptive technology, we are able to support students of all abilities, including:

• Struggling readers who need targeted intervention to build their confidence and close the gap.

• High-achievers who are ready to be stretched and challenged with advanced material.

• Students of all backgrounds and starting points, ensuring no child is left behind in their reading journey.
