Despite this being their very first competitive fixture together, the squad put on a masterclass of technical, high-energy football from start to finish. Every single player stepped up, demonstrating superb teamwork and grit across the pitch.

The match featured several spectacular individual highlights up front:

• Hettie put on a clinical display in front of goal, netting an incredible 8 goals.

• Ani ran the midfield with complete composure and chipped in with a brilliant hat-trick (3 goals).

• Mia struck twice, including an absolute 'worldie' of a strike.

• Darci capped off the scoring in style with an audacious lob over the keeper.

It was a brilliant whole-squad effort that sets a fantastic tone for the rest of the tournament. Huge congratulations to all the girls - onto the next round!
