Despite the scoreline, the hosts showed resilience, defending in numbers and looking to threaten on the break and took a great chance and went 1 up.  SDCC had to remain patient, using slick passing, intelligent movement and high energy to unlock a determined defence before the goals came.

As the game progressed, SDCC’s quality shone through, with some superb team goals, electrifying finishing and quick transitions leaving the opposition chasing shadows.

Credit to Sir John Hunt, who battled throughout despite the scoreline.

A fantastic team performance and an excellent start to the season!
