Stoke Damerel Community College

Psychology trip

I had the pleasure of taking the year 12 Psychology classes to the University of St Mark and St John on Wednesday for a Psychology Day. Students learned how to thrive under pressure and demonstrated this through a very tense game of Jenga!

They engaged in problem-solving tasks and teams from SDCC managed to complete the Tower of Hanoi in the minimum amount of moves possible.

They took part in lectures around Developmental Psychology and Moral Development as well as the use of eye tracking. They represented the college excellently and this was acknowledged by Marjon which has led to them wanting to run more sessions for us as a school.

They were amazing (and competitive!!)
