Montpelier Primary School given Heart Dissection session by sdcc staff

Year 6 students at Montpelier Primary School had the fantastic opportunity to learn all about the heart, this week, with SDCC science teachers.

Having just finished their science topic on the human body, the students got to take a closer look at the heart, learning about the different parts and the role it plays in keeping the human body alive.

Ms Chafer, teacher at Montpelier said "Thank you for all your time and resources. The children had a great session and are all still so excited and talking about the hearts days later!"

Miss Frier, Headteacher at SDCC said "It was such a memorable experience for the students and fantastic to see collaboration between SDCC and our feeder schools."
