DofE Gold students experience first overnight expedition
The Year 12 Gold DofE students participated in their first practice walk this week by completing an 8-mile loop in Merrivale on Dartmoor.
Even though the students were very cold they soon warmed up once they started navigating across the beautiful moorland. The Year 12's enjoyed navigating, exploring and climbing the tors.
The students were a real example of enthusiasm, dedication and endurance. They all really enjoyed their first walking experience and came away excited about their next challenge.
