Twenty Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders were put through their paces at a Cricket Leadership course on Thursday 17th June at SDCC. The course was led by Devon Cricket coach Jonny Varcoe. The day included activities that developed the students' understanding of leadership in sport and also focused on cricket skills such as bowling and batting. The day concluded with a cricket match, giving students the opportunity to learn the rules and put them into practice.

It will be great to see the Sports Leaders supporting primary students at Cricket events next year using their new knowledge and leadership skills!
