Student Shine on Bronze DofE Expedition

The spirit of adventure and growth was palpable as students from across the campus embarked on a remarkable two-day expedition.

Their journey showcased a transformation, from tentative participants during September's practice walks to confident planners and established Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) students.

With an unwavering determination, each student tackled checkpoints and successfully completed the expedition. The true testament to their growth was evident in their ability to navigate through unfamiliar terrain using maps, pitch and camp in tents, and cook using trangias – skills they had not possessed just a few months prior.

The entire DofE team couldn't be prouder of the students' achievements and commend their willingness to embrace challenges and conquer obstacles. The progress made in such a short time is inspiring, and it sets the stage for even greater accomplishments in the future.

Looking ahead, the team is excited to witness how well these outstanding students will handle the silver qualification next year. Undoubtedly, their experience in the DofE program has instilled resilience, teamwork, and adaptability, qualities that will undoubtedly serve them well in any future endeavor they pursue.

We have no doubt that these young trailblazers will continue to thrive and inspire others along their journey of personal and academic excellence.
