Year 7 Boys Triumph in Plymouth Cup

Our amazing Year 7 boys' team emerged victorious in the Plymouth Cup this term, showcasing their unwavering spirit and skill on the pitch.

The journey to victory was no easy feat. Despite being twice pegged back, including a dramatic equaliser in the dying moments of the game, the team refused to be disheartened. Instead, they rose to the occasion, demonstrating their grit as they pushed the match into extra time.

It was during this crucial period that the boys truly shone, delivering a stellar performance to secure a 4-2 victory!

Remarkably, this victory follows their impressive wins against Plympton in the first round and Tor Bridge in the quarter-finals. With each match, they have shown remarkable progress and determination, proving themselves to be formidable contenders in the tournament.

Looking ahead, the team's next challenge awaits in the form of DHSB in the semi-finals after Easter. Undoubtedly, they will approach this upcoming clash with the same tenacity and determination that has defined their journey thus far.

Amongst the standout performers of the match, Logan's contribution was truly exceptional. Despite playing out of position in defence, he delivered a superb performance, earning him the well-deserved title of Man of the Match.

Congratulations to the entire team on a well-deserved victory. Well done, boys!
