College to celebrate DofE award successes
Stoke Damerel Community College is delighted to host a special celebration evening to mark our students’ Duke of Edinburgh’s Award achievements during the past two years.
Over 120 invites have been sent to students and families for the event, from 6.30pm to 8pm on Tuesday 17 May, with up to 400 people attending.
The event will take place in our newly refurbished main hall/theatre space, while bronze, silver and gold presentations can be viewed on display boards in The Street. Teas, coffees, and light refreshments will also be available in The Street.
Mr Cole said: “We recognise the commitment and dedication shown by all of those students engaged in the DofE programme. We have record numbers this year and inviting students and their families to come in and share the successes is a wonderful way to celebrate together.
“We are looking forward to seeing the students and their families on the night, to enjoy this well-deserved recognition.”
