Every Year 10 student at Stoke Damerel Community College has been getting first-hand experience of the world of work, through a week of placements with local employers and a programme of careers activities running alongside at the College.

Over the last 10 months, students in Year 9 have been experiencing industry professionals coming into school and running various workshops including voice, movement and script work. This week all their hard work came together to produce an incredible final performance in our main hall.

Cadets volunteer to help with end of year celebrations at Plymouth College
On Saturday, 5 SDCC Cadets gave up part of their weekend and demonstrated their selflessness and citizenship by volunteering at the Plymouth College End of Year Celebrations.
