ASPIRE SPORTS AND COMMUNITY HUB
Aspire Sports and Community Hub is a welcoming, inclusive facility for our local residents and the wider community. We use our fantastic array of facilities to accommodate a plethora of community groups, sports clubs, businesses, and local people.
In Spring 2025 we welcomed a brand new WR22 and FIFA compliant 7v7 3G pitch and an FIH standard Hockey pitch to the site, with a fully renovated 9v9 natural turf pitch due to come online later in 2026.
As well as our brand new sports pitches, we are able to offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces covering fitness and sports, performing arts, community groups, workshops, cookery, and more!
Indoor spaces include our dance studio which has a mirrored wall as well as a sprung floor making it perfect for dance or performing arts activities. The Fitness Studio is our newly renovated space filled with high quality equipment for your exercise classes, strength & conditioning sessions, or solo workouts.
Our large, multi-use sports hall has 4 courts with markings for badminton, basketball, football, netball, and volleyball. Adjacent to the sports hall are changing rooms and shower facilities which are included as part of the hire (subject to availability). Our Sports Hall will soon be bookable for Badminton and Pickleball on a court by court basis.
We also have a state-of-the-art theatre providing a flexible facility to meet your requirements whatever your needs. With a capacity to seat 220 people and central Plymouth location, its flexible options have seen multiple shows take place here including dance, musicals, and showcase events. It is also a fantastic space for workshops and lectures, with large projector screens and retractable seating.
Other spaces include multipurpose rooms with varying capacity, ideal for workshops, classes, and presentations, a classic style Gymnasium with padded floor mats included, two 10-station cookery classrooms, and a drama studio.
Outside, Stoke Damerel caters to all, with an array of sports pitches and courts suited to a variety of sports and activities.
Following the recent expansion to our outdoor facilities, we can now offer a 7v7 sized WR22 compliant 3G pitch primarily for football and rugby, a full sized 2G pitch primarily for hockey, and a fully renovated 9v9 sized grass pitch.
We also have multiple hard courts suitable for tennis, netball, and basketball, which can also be used for other multisports activities and fitness sessions.
With such an array of facilities on offer, we are sure to be able to find a solution to your requirements.
Stoke Damerel is located in central Plymouth, 10 minutes from the main dual carriageway with easy transport links. There is ample parking on site and full disabled access, as well as changing room and shower facilities.
